This booklet celebrates the thirty-year anniversary of the FRMRC. It includes extensive interviews with the former directors of the Center, in which they reflect upon their experiences, upon the vision and principles that guided them during their years at the Center, and upon the research that was conducted and the intellectual community that was built during their time at the Center. Following these interviews, the concluding section presents a snapshot of the Center’s research community at present: brief self-portraits of the fellows who have carried out their research and brought the Center to life over the last few years.
