Poet Rainer René Mueller in Israel, January 6th-17th, 2019

27 December, 2018

We invite you to join a unique series of events with the poet Rainer René Mueller, one
of the most prominent gures in contemporary German poetry. An heir to Paul Celan,
during the last four decades Mueller has been writing dense, touching, at times
violent poems that continue the reection on German-Jewish tradition and legacy
after 1945, while encompassing countless other realms, such as visual arts and music.

Please find attached the poster containing all the information about the single events as well as the announcement for the reading that will take place on January 13th, 2019, at the Leo Baeck Institute in Jerusalem, alongside Dr. Lina Barouch (The Franz Rosenzweig Minerva Research Center for German-Jewish Literature and Cultural History), Dr. Jan Kuehne (The Martin Buber Society of Fellows) and Dr. Chiara Caradonna (The Martin Buber Society of Fellows).
