Judith Poppe earned her PhD in 2016 at the University of Göttingen. Her dissertation examines Israeli literature written in the German language by focussing on the poetry of the two writers Jenny Aloni and Netti Boleslav. Judith was a fellow at the Rosenzweig Minerva Research Center in 2013 and arranged and described the papers of Netti Boleslav in the National Library of Israel in 2015 (as part of the project Traces and Treasures of German-Jewish History in Israel). She has been studying German and Romanic Literature/Language and Cultural Anthropology in Göttingen and Perugia (Italy), and was a researcher and Teaching Assistant at Wayne State University, Detroit (USA).
